I want to start this little review by saying one thing. Loved it, LOVED IT!

When I heard that and Aqua Teen Hunger Force movie was coming out, I immediately thought it would be bad. That’s not because I don’t like the show, because I do. Its not because I didn’t want to see an Aqua Teen movie, because I do. It was because I wasn’t sure anyone could stretch what is normally a 15-minute per episode show into a feature length movie. I was wrong.

The guys behind the show accomplished this task pretty well (making it only 87 minutes long with trailers doesn’t hurt). Personally I am a big fan of the show and that also doesn’t hurt when it comes to reviewing the movie version. Honestly I think everyone could like this movie though. Anyone who likes irreverent humor, random characters, nonsensical actions and inconsequential story lines will also love this movie. The movie starts off with its own take on the old, “Let’s go out to the lobby” song and turns it into one of the best opening movie sequences ever. Thankfully it isn’t completely downhill after that and the film continues to deliver laugh after laugh. For anyone out there who isn’t quite sold, check out the show on Adult Swim or on the internet. If you like the show at all, even a little bit, you’ll like the movie a bunch. Love it!
