Emma Watson to no longer star in Harry Potter?

The actress who plays Hermione Granger in the series thus far has yet to sign the contract for the last two installments. The worst part is, she doesn’t seem eager to do so.
“I don’t know yet,” Watson told Newsweek. “Every film is such a huge production, and it’s a long time.”
The 16-year-old actress says she isn’t even sure she wants to keep acting.

This is very disappointing news. I’ve greatly enjoyed the series. My favorite of the movies released thus far is “Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban” directed by Alfonso Cuarón. Alfonso Cuarón is just a brilliant director and he gave the third installment what the first too were missing. I was heartbroken when I heard they had dumped Cuarón for Mike Newell only because the third movie didn’t bring in as much revenue as its predecessors. I guess people want their money. Anyway, back to Emma Watson.
I’ll be the first to admit that I haven’t read any of the Harry Potter books, but I still think Emma Watson does a fantastic job playing the role of Hermione Granger. She brings the role to life and gives the movie the perfect tension between Harry and Ron. If she doesn’t sign on for the last two installments and they’re forced to recast her part, I don’t care who they find, it just will not be the same.
Please Emma, please, put the Corona down and sign your contract.
This is disappointing mainly because she’s my favourite of all the actors. I have a feeling this may just be a push for more money though.
Shame on her. How old is she? 16? Her agents are already teaching her cutthroat Hollywood tactics at such a young age and I’m sure she was already getting paid well. If she keeps holding out for more money she won’t find herself in any roles after the Harry Potter movies are through.
She might just be trying to, you know, boost up publicity, every Harry Potter fan will be talking about it, thats almost guaranteed, even people who aren’t die hard Harry Potter fans. I believe she should continue her acting career, if you have a gift, you’re good at it, and they’re paying you handsomly for it, fame, power, what more could you ask for. Not very many people get those kinds of breaks during their lifetime. She could possible be the next Julia Roberts, she is only 16 so, she still has a way to go until maturing to full womanhood. Marina, I think this is just a “push” for publicity(attention)for her and the movie series, fans will be delighted is she does the last 2 installments. And Jason, nothing is guaranteed in life, I’m sure she will be able to find roles for other movies, with a resume like hers.
