Guitar Hero fans, this sport’s for you
Air Guitar Nation is a documentary, due out in Toronto towards the end of March, that showcases the best air guitar players all over the world. After watching the trailer at MadAboutMovies, I was so psyched. I threw on my KISS costume, spent hours doing my makeup and rocked out like it was 1999. Well, actually it’s 2007 and I really don’t own a KISS costume or wear makeup, but believe me, the spirit was there.
In my opinion, air guitar has to be the best competition ever invented. Soon, it will be an Olympic sport and I will compete against others across the globe and become an air guitar icon. After that, they’ll make a movie about me and it’ll do so well, they’ll have to make two sequels just to feed the demand. Only then will my saga be complete. No really though, just watch the freaking trailer and laugh your ass off.

I saw this last year at the Edinburgh International Film Festival, and I was going on someone’s request as they wanted it reviewed, I was quite uninterested to be honest.
However the film really hooked me in and I was surprised. My review came as a total surprise, I loved it and I got totally wrapped up in the characters and the competition. Fantastic. Great to see it getting attention and a release.
