It’s my party and I’ll cry if I want to

Well, today is my birthday and other than having my Facebook profile over loaded with happy birthdays, it’s been a fairly slow day. To treat myself, I decided I would spice up the blog with some cool new features.

The features I’ve added are pretty subtle, but they add to the overall “coolness” of the blog. Let me know what you think and if everything is working properly.

The first feature I installed was a polling section on the sidebar. I actually did this a few days ago, but whatever. Anyway, the nice thing about the polling feature is I can figure out what you want as readers and also add some interaction to the blog. Any ideas for polls? Let me know.

Second, I added this nifty AJAX comment submitter. The only way to check this feature out is by submitting a comment. After you click the button to submit your comment, the page used to reload with your comment displayed. Now, the page doesn’t have to reload. Your comment is automatically placed above free of a page load.

Last but not least, I decided to add a feature onto the main blog page where comments are viewable without entering the post page. All you have to do is click the show comments under the post and you’ll see what I mean.

Like the features? Don’t like the features? Let me know.
