Kevin Smith To Direct Horror Movie
The good folks over at Moviehole were able to grab Kevin Smith for a small interview and ask him a few questions about his upcoming horror flick.
Apparently, Kevin Smith wants go boldly go where he hasn’t gone before and try delving into a different genre. Smith said, “I’ve made seven comedies, or variation thereof, and some people would argue that none of them are funny. But it would be nice to make a horror movie. An intentional horror movie, not like Jersey Girl.”
Smith wants to get away from the comedy for a while and make a genuine horror flick. Not a slasher and definitely not a horror/comedy, ie: Scary Movie. He says he wants to direct something, “…where it’s creepy and unsettling more than gore.”
Moviehole didn’t report on whether or not this upcoming horror movie is going to involve the same cast members he has included in his other movies, but one can only hope.
