Last Friday, I was watching the last 15 minutes or so of The Covenant and recognized the cute blonde girl. She was playing the girlfriend to one of the main stars of the movie. I couldn’t think of her name, but I knew she had also been in She’s the Man. Sure enough, after a quick look up on the internet, I found that her name was Laura Ramsey.

Laura Ramsey has also starred in Lords of Dogtown and Venom. I’ve never seen Venom, but I distinctly remember the trailers for it when it was released. Now that I know it’s on Laura’s resume, it might just be reason enough to go rent it.

There’s plenty of gorgeous women out there in Hollywood right now and I think Laura Ramsey ranks up there with the best of them. She might not be as well known right now as people like Angelina Jolie or Keira Knightley, but she’s definitely working her way up the ranks and I’m sure we’ll see her on the cover of Maxim within the next year or two (at least I hope so).
