A few weeks ago I was out for drinks with a few friends and the movie The Way of the Gun arose in our conversation and right away we stated, as fact, that it has
THE BEST opening scene ever.
When people think of stellar openers, I’m sure they think of movies like The Matrix where Trinity runs up the wall, kills the cops and runs from Mr. Smith or maybe the scene in Transformers where the Decepticon, Blackout, attempts to steal classified information and destroys an entire military base in the process. Those are all cool openers, but The Way of the Gun still tops them all. Do you think The Way of the Gun holds true to best opening sequence or do you feel a different movie deserves the title?
