I honestly couldn’t have said it better myself. “The Departed” was such an excellent and engrossing film that shows the pure brilliance of Martin Scorsese and the entire cast. If performances this good don’t win Oscars, I don’t know what will.
I agree that this was a great film and the acting was indeed superb but I’m not sure anyone other that DiCaprio really deserves an Oscar nod for this one. True everyone was excellent but, in my opinion, DiCaprio stood out head and shoulders above the rest.
Definitely. DiCaprio’s performance was astonishing.
