Two, yes two, “Hot Fuzz” trailers
Remember that insanely funny movie “Shaun of the Dead”? Well, director Edgar Wright is at it again. His new movie “Hot Fuzz” stars the same duo from “Shaun of the Dead”, Simon Pegg and Nick Frost, and this time, they’re mismatched police detectives who must uncover the truth about the quiet little town of Sandford. The movie is due for release March 9, 2007.

Nick Frost and Simon Pegg in “Hot Fuzz”
I find it strange that I haven’t heard more about this movie since “Shaun of the Dead” was so popular. The movie will be released in less than half a year and it’s only trailers were just released. For a typical movie, the first teaser trailer appears nine months to a year before the movies release, but in this case, it seems the “Hot Fuzz” crew have even less time to promote their movie.
Despite the limited amount of time they have to work with, I think the “Hot Fuzz” crew will create another comedic masterpiece.

I really gotta rent Shaun of the Dead, as I have yet to see that. I’ve seen some clips of it, and thought what I saw was pretty funny.
These trailers for Hot Fuzz - especially the fence one - had me laughing too. This looks like a classic comedy on the way…
It is classic comedy, but the way they do it, it’s just so original and funny. Hopefully, “Hot Fuzz” will do better than “Shaun of the Dead” did in theaters. If I recall correctly, “Shaun of the Dead” didn’t pick up a big following until its release on DVD.
