Recently, Kickin’ It Old Skool has received a decent amount of recognition throughout the movie blogging community. However, for those of you still in the dark, Kickin’ It Old Skool is Jamie Kennedy’s new comedy which follows the life of a preteen boy growing up in the 80’s until a freak break dancing accident puts him in a coma for twenty years. After he wakes up, he must cope with the changes in society.

Watching the trailer made me reminisce on my experiences during the 80’s. Granted, I was only five once the 80’s came to an end, but judging from this list, I remember quite a few things.

Here’s a small sample:

  • You know that “WHOA” comes from Joey on Blossom.
  • Two words: Hammer Pants
  • You can sing the entire theme song to “Duck Tales” (Woo ooh!)
  • You got super-excited when it was Oregon Trail day in computer class at school.
  • You remember the CRAZE, then the BANNING of slap bracelets.
  • As I said, that’s only a small portion of the entire list. Check it out and see how many you remember.

What other things from the 80’s do YOU think should be added to the list?
